Product development
When a standard product does not match the intended positioning, function or user experience, Dentos develops a customised or entirely new solution. The product brief is translated into shape, construction, materials and manufacturing process.
CAD design, prototypes and material assessment make choices tangible early on. Validation is followed by tooling, trial runs, quality agreements and handover to production.
Function, target audience, price point and reference products are translated into a clear product specification.
Form, function, materials and manufacturability come together in a technical design.
Prototypes and test models enable early assessment of ergonomics, fit and functional performance.
Approval is followed by moulds, trial runs, quality agreements and handover to production.

Intellectual property
New shapes, mechanisms and concepts can be protected through design registrations and, where appropriate, patents. Existing rights and potential protection are therefore considered during development, before market launch.
Brand services
A strong product needs packaging that immediately communicates its position on the shelf. Dentos develops private-label packaging within an existing brand architecture, and can also build an independent brand concept or ‘fancy label’ from the ground up.
The process covers concept, naming and visual direction through to die-cut design, technical artwork, mandatory legal information and files for print production. Prepress, colour specifications and mock-ups ensure the design and final result align.
Brand role, target audience, naming and visual direction.
Shape, material selection, hierarchy and shelf presentation.
Dielines, technical text, colour management and printing instructions.
Presentation models and checked, production-ready files.

Supply chain & logistics
Product, packaging, documentation and goods flow are organised together. This keeps planning, quality, stock and market launch aligned.
Manufacturer, materials and cost aligned with the product specification.
Capacity, packaging, minimum order quantities and the required delivery date in one production schedule.
Checks, documentation and product release before dispatch.
Freight, imports, stock planning and delivery aligned with market launch.
Forecasts, the target launch date and order volume are the starting point for a realistic lead time. Production slots, packaging components, transport and stock build-up are planned accordingly.
Where required, the process includes consolidation, sea or air freight, import documentation, storage and phased delivery to distribution centres.

Product quality & compliance
Product requirements are translated into verifiable specifications for materials, construction, compatibility, packaging and marking. Relevant tests, inspections and traceability are recorded in each product file.
Functional performance, fit, material selection and packaging protection are assessed before release.
Technical files, test results, product specifications and changes remain linked to the product and batch.
Files and processes are structured around applicable European legislation, including GPSR, PPWR, REACH and — for relevant electrical products — WEEE. Dentos is a member of amfori BSCI and GS1.
Less plastic
Plastic reduction is considered from the concept stage. Depending on technical requirements, a product or pack can use less material, renewable raw materials, recyclable material combinations or entirely plastic-free packaging.
Bamboo and paper are useful alternatives where function, hygiene and shelf life allow. All paper packaging uses FSC®-certified paper or board.
